These 150 Funds have Exposure to Databricks Shares (with detailed breakdown)

DatabricksAI StocksFund HoldingsPrivate MarketsData Infrastructure

The information provided on this site is for informational purposes only and does not constitute investment advice. Data and prices are obtained from third-party sources and may not be accurate or up to date.

Databricks is private and you cannot buy the stock directly. Funds can, and 150 fund vehicles now report roughly $6.72 billion of exposure to it. 120 hold equity, worth $6.22B. The other 30 hold term loan paper, worth $491.6M, broken out separately below.

What you can see depends on who has reported. Anything a fund bought after its reporting date is invisible until the next disclosure.

Publicly Traded Vehicles With Databricks Exposure

Most of the list is mutual funds, insurance sleeves, and non-traded private markets funds that you either cannot access or cannot trade intraday. But 20 exchange-listed vehicles now report Databricks exposure — eight of them hold the stock, twelve hold the loan.

  • BSTZ is the single most concentrated Databricks bet anywhere in the dataset, listed or not: 12.96% of total assets in one private position. That is a genuinely unusual number for a listed fund, and it is worth understanding what you are buying — a term trust with a stated wind-down date and a NAV that only moves on Databricks when BlackRock re-marks it.
  • RVI is the new one. Robinhood Ventures Fund I began trading on the NYSE in March 2026 with the explicit pitch of putting private names in an ordinary brokerage account — no accreditation, no minimums. Databricks is 12.62% of assets, its second-largest concentration on this list.
  • BST and BTX are the rest of BlackRock's listed technology complex, at 4.42% and 1.69%. BCAT, the multi-asset term trust, carries a smaller 0.45% sleeve.
  • DXYZ holds Databricks at 1.19%, entirely through two SPV wrappers rather than directly. It also tends to trade at a wide premium or discount to stated NAV, so the share price reflects sentiment on private tech more than any single mark.
  • ALAI and TTEQ are the two equity ETFs. Both positions are small in dollars, but ALAI's is 1.98% of the fund — a real sleeve inside a daily-liquid wrapper.
  • PYLD holds the term loan, not the stock, and at $25.9M it is the largest single ETF position of any kind here. It is 0.13% of a very large bond fund, so treat it as a curiosity rather than an on-ramp.

A listed wrapper does not fix the underlying problem. Databricks is still marked by the adviser, on a schedule, using inputs you cannot see. The exchange listing gives you liquidity in the fund, not in the position.

Headline Takeaways

  • T. Rowe Price is the largest sponsor by a wide margin — 23 vehicles holding $1.56B between them, led by Blue Chip Growth (TRBCX) at $431.9M and Growth Stock (PRGFX) at $349.0M. BlackRock, Capital Group, and Fidelity follow; those four firms hold $4.28B of the $6.72B total.
  • Growth Fund of America (AGTHX) holds the largest single position, $598.2M across 3,306,443 shares of Series J, K, and L preferred. It is also one of the least meaningful: 0.17% of the fund.
  • Morgan Stanley runs the most consistent house bet. All five of its vehicles carry Databricks between 4.21% and 4.58% of assets — no other sponsor is that concentrated across its whole lineup.
  • PIMCO is the largest lender and holds no equity at all. 21 PIMCO vehicles hold $412.5M of Databricks term loans, led by PIMCO Income Fund (PIMIX) at $264.7M.
  • 47 of the 150 funds carry Databricks above 1% of assets, and 21 are above 2%. Concentration and size point in opposite directions almost everywhere: the largest position on the list is 0.17% of its fund, while Alger Mid Cap Focus carries Databricks at 4.09% on a position of just $13.0M.
  • Three vehicles hold Databricks through SPVs rather than directly — Private Shares Fund via a Tiger Global vehicle, Destiny Tech100 via two wrappers, and Pre-IPO & Growth Fund via a single-name LP. You are a layer further from the cap table in those.

Most Concentrated Databricks Bets (% of Fund AUM)

If you want the highest relative exposure, these are the funds where Databricks actually moves the needle — the top 16 by weight. Another 31 vehicles carry it between 1% and 3% of assets.

The Debt Side: 30 Funds Hold Databricks Term Loans

Databricks raised a large first-lien term loan in late 2025, and the paper has spread much further than the equity has. These 30 funds hold $492.4M of par across 62 tranches, marked at $491.6M. They hold loan paper rather than stock, which is why none of them appear in the equity table above.

Most of the paper matures January 5, 2032, with 59 of the 62 tranches on that date. The exceptions are Cliffwater and Diameter, which hold $36.5M of a separate facility maturing January 3, 2031.

Seven of the tranches are delayed draw commitments — money promised but not yet lent. Two of those carry a small negative fair value (SEI's at -$1,917, Ares' at -$455). That is not an error. An undrawn commitment can mark below zero when the contracted spread sits under current market, and the funds report it that way.

Notes & Methodology

  • Source data: regulated fund holdings disclosures for the Q2 2026 reporting period, covering positions held as of April 30, May 29–31, and June 30, 2026, filed between June 22 and August 31, 2026. Fiscal period ends vary by fund, so 96 of the 150 vehicles are marked as of June 30 while the rest are dated April or May.
  • Databricks issues preferred stock in several series. This dataset shows Series B through L, reported under wildly inconsistent title strings ("DATABRICKS INC SER J PFD PP (PHYSICAL) (NOT LISTED OR TRADING)", "Databricks, Inc. Series F", "DATABRICKS INC CL L PFD PP", "DATABRICKS SER G CVY PFD STCK PP"). Where a fund holds more than one series, share counts and values are summed under that fund.
  • 43 rows report the holding as plain "DATABRICKS INC" with no series at all, covering $1.35B of the total, so the series letters listed above undercount what is actually held.
  • "% of AUM" is the position's reported fair value divided by the fund's total reported assets for the same period. The filer's own percentage figure uses net assets instead, which runs slightly higher.
  • Fund vehicles are counted separately by series ID, so a sponsor's retail fund, K6 fund, institutional series, and variable-annuity clone each count once. Some of that exposure is double counted by construction — Fidelity's U.S. Equity Central Fund, for example, is itself owned by other Fidelity funds on this list.
  • "Interval Fund" covers every continuously offered, non-exchange-traded closed-end vehicle here, including the tender-offer funds. They repurchase shares on a periodic schedule rather than trading intraday, and the terms vary a lot between them; check each fund's repurchase policy before assuming you can get out.
  • Mutual fund tickers are usually the primary investor share class, typically Class A or Investor. Other share classes of the same fund hold the same Databricks position pro rata.
  • Report dates span April 30 to June 30, 2026, so a fund on an April period end carries a two-month-older mark than one on June 30.
  • The manager shown under each fund is the firm running the strategy, not the trust sponsor. For insurance-platform and sub-advised portfolios that means the sub-adviser — the Brighthouse, LVIP, SA, EQ, Empower, and NYLIM VP portfolios are credited to BlackRock, Morgan Stanley, T. Rowe Price, ClearBridge, Newton, or Winslow Capital as applicable.
  • By the time you read this the holdings may have changed. Check the fund's own website for its latest disclosure.
  • This post is informational only and is not investment advice. Databricks is still a private company, so any indirect exposure comes with opaque pricing and marks that only update when the fund files. You are also buying whatever else the fund's mandate holds.

If you want the same breakdown for the other big private AI names, I have done Anthropic, OpenAI, and SpaceX.
