FYI - We are removing 9 ETFs from our Database (June 2026)

As part of our ongoing effort to keep our ETF database accurate and useful, we've removed 9 leveraged ETFs as of June 2026. They fall into two groups: two funds that now trade only on the OTC expert market (and so are no longer accessible to most U.S. retail investors), and seven funds that their issuers are liquidating and closing.

Removed — Moved to the OTC Expert Market

These funds have not been delisted or liquidated — they continue to operate — but they now trade only on the OTC expert market in the U.S.

  • HZOZF - GLOBAL X INVESTMENTS CANADA BetaPro Crude Oil Leveraged Daily BULL ETF
  • HBTPF - GLOBAL X INVESTMENTS CANADA BetaPro Crude Oil Inverse Leveraged Daily Bear ETF

Both funds are BetaPro products listed in Canada that appear on U.S. markets only via the OTC expert market tier. Expert market securities are restricted from public quotation and cannot be bought by most U.S. retail brokerage customers, so listing them alongside actively quoted ETFs creates more confusion than value. Canadian investors can still access these funds through their primary TSX listings.

Removed — Liquidated and Closed

Two issuers are winding down single-stock leveraged funds this month, in both cases after the funds failed to attract sufficient assets.

Leverage Shares (Themes ETF Trust) is closing its entire Capped Accelerated single-stock ETF series — five funds in all:

  • TSLO - Leverage Shares 2x Capped Accelerated TSLA Monthly ETF
  • PLOO - Leverage Shares 2x Capped Accelerated PLTR Monthly ETF
  • COIO - Leverage Shares 2x Capped Accelerated COIN Monthly ETF
  • MSOO - Leverage Shares 2x Capped Accelerated MSTR Monthly ETF
  • NVDO - Leverage Shares 2x Capped Accelerated NVDA Monthly ETF

In its own words, the issuer explained the decision:

Due to their inability to attract sufficient investment assets, the Board of Trustees of the Themes ETF Trust (the "Board") has decided to liquidate and close five ETFs (each, a "Fund" and collectively, the "Funds"). The Board concluded that liquidating and closing the Funds would be in the best interest of the Funds and their shareholders.

Defiance ETFs (Tidal Trust II) liquidated two of its Daily Target 2X Long single-stock funds:

  • CVNX - Defiance Daily Target 2X Long CVNA ETF
  • BU - Defiance Daily Target 2X Long BU ETF

Their last trading day on Nasdaq was June 8, 2026, and shares still held as of the June 12, 2026 liquidation date were automatically redeemed for cash at net asset value.

What This Means For You

If you previously tracked any of these ETFs on our platform, they will no longer appear in search results or ETF listings. For the liquidated funds, shareholders should consult the issuer's notice and their broker regarding the liquidation timeline and the cash redemption of any remaining shares.

If you believe an ETF was removed in error, please reach out to us and we'll look into it.

Our database is regularly reviewed to ensure it reflects only actively traded, broadly accessible leveraged ETFs.
